A couple recently won the $100,000 top prize on the Ohio Lottery’s Bingo Times 25 scratch-off with the winning ticket sold in Shelby, the state lottery commission announced Wednesday.
The couple, who were not identified in the announcement, purchased their ticket at Shelby Duchess #1206, located at 10 Broadway St. in Shelby, the news release said.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 28 percent, they will receive approximately $72,000. The couple is splitting the $100,000 top prize, the announcement said.
Bingo Times 25 is a $5 scratch-off that has a top prize of $100,000. As of April 1, one top prize remained in the game.
Lottery winnings are subject to Shelby City Income Tax. See Codified Ordinance Section 881.02(c)(16)D.
