$50,417 Ohio Lottery winner in Mansfield
MANSFIELD — A lottery player won $50,417 in the Ohio Lottery game, Pick 5 at the Mansfield MotoMart, 1050 W. 4th St., the Ohio Lottery Commission announced Wednesday.
The man, identified only as "Jesse," purchased a ticket for the May 4 midday draw and picked his numbers, 1-9-2-6-8, the commission said in its news release.
He placed a 50-cent wager "with a 120-way back-up bet," the release said. He purchased two of the same tickets and hit for $25,208.50 on each.
After mandatory state and federal tax totaling 28 percent, he will receive approximately $36,300.24.
Pick 5 is a daily draw game with drawings held at 12:29 p.m. and 7:29 p.m. seven days.
