Three Shelby High School basketball players are leading the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference in individual statistics, with a fourth player also near the top.
Some highlights newly listed on the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference on the league website:
-- In girls scoring average, Shelby's Eve Schwemley leads the MOAC with 21.5 points per game.
-- Shelby's Brayden DeVito leads the MOAC in boys scoring average at 19.8 points per game.
-- Among boys, Shelby's Karsen Homan is the MOAC's leading rebounder at 9.4 per game.
-- Charlie Niese of the Lady Whippets is second in the MOAC in assists with 3.9 per game and third in steals.
-- Schwemley is fourth in steals with 3.3 a game and fourth in assists with 3.7 per game.




The statistics, posted on the official MOAC website, are submitted weekly by the league's head coaches.
The girls' statistics (Week 7) are through 11 games, and the boys through 10 (Week 6).
The Shelby Lady Whippets are 11-1 on the season and 8-0 in the league. The Shelby boys team is 6-5 overall and 4-2 in the MOAC.
Schwemley, through 11 games, had scored 236 points.
Through 10 games, DeVito had scored a total of 198 points.
Homan's rebounding numbers are based on eight games and a total of 75 rebounds.
