Narrative per police report: A Shelby police officer was detailed to the listed location in reference to a foul garbage odor coming from trash cans in the driveway. Upon arrival, the officer detected the odor from the street and the neighboring property. The officer also observed a junk motor vehicle parked in the driveway. This matter is currently under investigation.

Location: SHELBY AVENUE
Time of call: 2:19 p.m.
Narrative per police report: An officer received a complaint from city code inspector Bob Deane in reference to concrete blocks being dumped on the bank of the creek on the north side of a Shelby Avenue address. The officer traveled to the address and photographed the violation. Nobody was home at that time, and the matter is currently under investigation.

Location: BROADWAY
Time of call: 7 p.m.
Narrative per police report: a report of several safety, sanitation and health violations were reported at a Broadway address. Upon investigation, the listed offender was issued a verbal warning for littering, storage of junk vehicle (10-day notice) and issued a criminal summons for storage of abandoned refrigerators and airtight containers. The offender is to appear in Shelby Municipal Court.
