Narrative per police report: Officers were detailed to a found property report involving a bicycle. Shelby Fire retrieved the bicycle, and it was placed in storage until the owner can be located.
June 7
Call type: DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Location: SUMMIT
Time: 2:30 p.m.
Narrative per police report: Officers were dispatched to a Summit Street location for a disturbance. The complainant reported a male in residence was screaming and breaking items in the home. The complainant reported the male suspect left on a bicycle. Officers found the male, who initially did not stop but eventually complied and was detained. Officers then spoke with the complainant and victim of the incident to find a physical assault occurred. The male suspect allegedly assaulted his mother, leaving evidence of an injury. The victim told officers she wanted to pursue charges against the male suspect. The suspect was charged with criminal mischief (M-3) and domestic violence (M-1). The suspect was booked into the Shelby City Jail and provided copies of both summonses. He was to appear in Shelby Municipal Court. Nothing further to report.

Narrative per police report: An officer was detailed to OhioHealth Shelby Hospital in reference to a domestic violence complaint.
June 10
Location: W. SMILEY
Time: 12:13 p.m.
Narrative per police report: Shelby police assisted Shelby Fire in a call for a medical emergency. The suspect was transported to OhioHealth Shelby Hospital for treatment.
June 11
Location: WALNUT
Time: 12:23 a.m.
Narrative per police report: Officers were dispatched to a welfare check for a female who sent her mom a photo of her hand that had been cut open and bleeding. Officers located the female, who was walking around after she left the residence after an altercation. Shelby Fire was called out to the location to check out the female's hand. The female was transported to OhioHealth Shelby Hospital. The female denied charges. At this time, the case is closed.
