Upon arrival, officers met with the 20-year-old suspect, who admitted to consuming alcohol and showed several indicators of alcohol impairment. The suspect was issued a summons for underage alcohol consumption and released with a court date in Shelby Municipal Court.

Narrative per police report: An officer took custody of a female identified as a 36-year-old woman from the Richland County Jail, involving her having both a bench warrant and an active warrant for her arrest through the Shelby Police Department. She was then transported to Shelby PD and booked into the Shelby jail with an appearance planned for Shelby Municipal Court on June 4.
