Narrative per police report: Officers conducted a traffic stop on a male who had a warrant for his arrest out of this department. Once contact was made, the male was arrested and taken into custody. The male was transported to the Shelby City Jail, where he later posted bond.

Call type: RECKLESS OPERATION

Narrative per police report: The Shelby Police Department received a report of a reckless driver pulling into the gas station located at 147 Mansfield Ave. The complainant stated the vehicle, a blue Chevy with an Ohio temp tag, was swerving all over the road. Upon arrival in the area, a Shelby officer observed the vehicle pulling out of the location. As the vehicle passed, the officer observed the driver as a wanted person. The officer followed the vehicle and stopped in the area of Mansfield Avenue and Wilson Avenue. The driver was secured under arrest for two warrant matters from Shelby Municipal Court for failure to appear. A drug instrument article was located inside the vehicle. The driver, a man now age 61, was incarcerated when he was unable to post bond. A summons for the drug instrument was issued.

Narrative per police report: Officers were dispatched to a found property report for a bicycle. The bicycle was located and taken to the Shelby Police Department, where it was placed into evidence for safekeeping.
