Photo gallery: Santa visits get started in Shelby

The event is an ongoing one during the Christmas season at the Holiday Store, 54 E. Main St. in downtown Shelby.
This event will run Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and Sunday 12 p.m.-4 p.m. starting Thanksgiving weekend until the first Sunday of 2025, Roub detailed in the social media announcement. "Different every week, vendors galore and visits from Santa."
Roub also noted that Sunday, Dec. 1 is the Shelby Christmas in the City with Parade special event. On Sunday, Dec. 1, children’s activities are 1 p.m.-6 p.m. and with the parade at 6 p.m.
