Here’s a look at Senior Night for the Shelby Whippets boys basketball team on Monday at home against Ashland.

The three Shelby seniors honored: Karsen Homan, Anderson Brubaker and Nic Eyster.

At the game, retired Shelby Schools Superintendent Tim Tarvin was presented the 2025 Charles C.W. Williams Sixth Man Award. This award honors Mr. Tarvin for his years of dedicated service and commitment to the Shelby Whippets basketball program. Prior to serving in Shelby schools’ administration, Mr. Tarvin was a Shelby teacher. He is a 1977 graduate of Shelby High School.
