Shelby High School is previewing its 2025 graduation.
Principal John Gies told the Shelby Board of Education this week that the Class of 2025 includes 175 seniors, with 167 planning to participate in the graduation ceremony set for Sunday, May 25 at 3 p.m. in the Shelby High School gymnasium.
Here are some details from Mr. Gies:

-- the graduation speaker is Shelby High School math teacher Scott Gurney

"We will have a Seniors Honor Night on Wednesday, May 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the PAC," Mr. Gies also said in reference to the high school's Performing Arts Center. "This is to recognize the seniors who have a GPA of at least a 3.5 (they will receive a gold cord) and those who have a 4.0 or higher (they will receive a white stole).”
