Shelby City Council will review legislation involving alley vacations, equipment declarations, and codified ordinance updates on May 5, based on the council’s published meeting agenda.
Resolution 13-2025 would declare the intent to vacate an alley running perpendicular to West Main Street between lots 578, 575, 27, and 576.

Resolution 11-2025 would declare a 1987 Winco diesel generator with trailer, previously used by the fire department, as unneeded and authorize its sale via internet auction.
