The Shelby Whippets moved to 12-0 and advanced to the regional semifinal with a come-from-behind 26-14 playoff win over Ottawa-Glandorf at the Whippet Athletic Complex on Friday night.
Shelby had trailed 14-6 about midway through the third quarter of the Division IV Region 14 quarterfinal matchup.

In the playoffs, Shelby next plays Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference rival Ontario in a rematch of a regular season home game won by Shelby 50-36 on Oct. 18.

Neutral sites will be used for the next round, the regional semifinals Nov. 15. The regional finals are Nov. 22 and the state semifinals are Nov. 29. The state championship games will be hosted at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton Dec. 5-7.
Shelby won its first-round playoff game 49-21 over Elida on Nov. 1 in a game played in Shelby.
Ottawa-Glandorf finished the season at 6-6 with the loss to Shelby on Friday night.
