The Rotary Club of Shelby has recognized Karsen Homan as its Student of the Month, praising the high school senior for exceptional academic and athletic achievements, the club announced.
Homan, a senior, who maintains a 4.124 grade-point is set to earn an impressive 10 varsity letters across football, basketball, and baseball by the end of his high school career.

The Rotary Club celebrated Homan’s accomplishments along with local school administrators during an event that included Shelby Schools Superintendent Michael Browning and Shelby High School Principal John Gies.

In addition to his academic and athletic excellence, the announcement highlighted Homan's additional involvement in the Future Farmers of America (FFA).
