The Shelby Whippet Band is headed to Columbus to perform ahead of the Michigan-Ohio State football game, Shelby schools announced Sunday.
The Whippet Band is set to perform at Ohio State's Skull Session beginning at 9 a.m. Nov 30 in St. John Arena, the announcement stated. The performance is free.

"It’s going to be an amazing day!!" the announcement said to Shelby Whippet Band members and families.
"Thank you all for an incredible football season! We still have one more performance...," the announcement added in providing details.
"Skull Session, initially a final rehearsal for the (Ohio State) band before their field performance, has become a key game day tradition at The Ohio State University," the ohiostatebuckeyes.com website states.
As part of the Skull Session, the Ohio State marching band "performs a final run-through of its pregame and halftime shows, giving fans a preview of the day’s music," the website adds.
The Michigan-OSU game kicks off at noon Nov. 30 in Ohio Stadium.
