Winning lottery ticket sold in Wooster
WOOSTER — An Ohio Lottery player won $50,000 on the Ohio Lottery’s VIP Millions scratch-off, the state lottery commission announced Thursday.
The winner, whose name was not released, purchased the ticket at Bowman Beverage at 927 E. Bowman St. in Wooster, the news release said.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 28 percent, the winner will receive approximately $36,000.
VIP Millions a $50 scratch-off with a top prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years. As of March 6, 42 top prizes remained in this game.
