Winter weather advisory for Richland, Crawford, Huron, multiple other counties
A winter weather advisory is being issued for Saturday morning in Richland, Huron, Crawford, Ashland, and Knox counties, including Shelby, Mansfield, New London, Willard, and Crestline.
The advisory, issued at 1:46 p.m. Friday by the National Weather Service, will be in effect from 1 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday due to expected mixed precipitation that could create hazardous travel conditions.

Snow, per the statement, will begin overnight before quickly transitioning to a mix of sleet and freezing rain. Total snow accumulations are expected to reach up to one inch, with ice accumulations of less than one-tenth of an inch.
The weather service notes that roads may become slippery, and visibility could be reduced at times.
By late morning Saturday, temperatures are expected to rise, turning precipitation into rain as warmer air moves in from the southwest, per initial information.
The Ohio Department of Transportation and the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission strongly encourage motorists to heed all travel restrictions and delay unnecessary travel. Drivers are urged to slow down and use caution.
