$1M winning lottery ticket in Mansfield
MANSFIELD -- An Ohio Lottery player won the $1 million top prize on the Ohio Lottery’s VIP Millions scratch-off, the Ohio Lottery Commission announced Friday.
Shell 77, at 77 S. Diamond St in Mansfield, sold the winning ticket, the commission said via news release.
The ticketholder, who was not identified in the release, chose the $500,000 cash option payment. After federal and state tax withholdings, the winner will receive approximately $360,000.
VIP Millions is a $50 scratch-off with a top prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years. As of April 4, 40 top prizes remained in this game.
The announcement comes two days after the lottery commission reported that a couple in Shelby in Shelby had recently won the $100,000 top prize on the Ohio Lottery’s Bingo Times 25 scratch-off.
