Narrative per police report: A 2019 Dodge Ram was turning left onto Mansfield Avenue. A 2019 Ford Escape was southbound. The Escape and the Ram collided, causing disabling damage to both vehicles. No injuries reported. Both vehicles were towed by Ronk's towing. The Ram driver was cited for right of way when turning left. The Ram was traveling 15 mph and the Escape 25 mph.

Narrative per police report: A Shelby City Schools Blue Bird bus with a driver and one other person listed on board was waiting at the light on West Smiley at northbound Gamble facing westbound. The bus began backing to make room for a semi-truck turning left. The bus struck a 2019 Honda Accord, causing minor damage to the Accord and no damage to the bus, which left the scene without knowing a crash had occurred. Contact was made and confirmed the driver of the school bus involved, per the traffic crash report. Insurance was obtained and action taken. A citation is listed as starting and backing. No injuries were reported. No damage was reported to the bus. The Honda received minor damage.

Narrative per police report: A 2015 Dodge Caravan was traveling westbound on West Main Street and made a left-hand turn southbound onto Steele Avenue. While making a left-hand turn, the Caravan drove onto the curb lawn, striking a no-parking sign. The Caravan suffered minor functional damage. The sign was bent. The Caravan driver was issued a citation. The Caravan was traveling 35 mph.

Narrative per police report: A 2020 Nissan Altima attempted to make a left turn from 191 Mansfield Ave., during which a 2005 Buick Rendezvous was also attempting a left turn from 200 Mansfield Ave. This resulted in a head-on collision near the center of the roadway. No injuries were reported. The Altima was traveling 15 mph, and the Rendezvous 10 mph. The Altima had functional damage, and the Rendezvous had minor damage.

Narrative per police report: On the specified date and time, an officer was dispatched to a Raymond address for a theft of property.

Location: DOLLAR TREE, 11 MANSFIELD
Time: 3:30 p.m.
Narrative per police report: Officers were dispatched to the Playscape park (14 Bradley Ave.) for a criminal mischief complaint. While investigating the complaint, officers found property on one of the juvenile suspects believed to be stolen. Officers spoke with staff at Dollar Tree and, after reviewing surveillance footage, determined the items were stolen. Officers charged one juvenile with theft, but the other was released with charges related to the previous incident. Both juveniles were released to their respective family members.

Location: DOLLAR TREE 11, MANSFIELD
Time: 2:29 p.m.
Narrative per police report: A citizen turned in found property. The citizen found a bottle of medication in the parking lot of the Dollar Tree. There was no label on the medication to indicate an owner. The item was secured in the property room for safekeeping.
