Thank you to Shelby's Connie Roub for these photos of a special display set up on Wednesday outside the Sportsman's Den off Gamble Street.
The I Heart Cookies food truck returned to Shelby with its deep dish cookies and an animatronic dinosaur exhibit for the special event at Sportsman’s Den.
The one-day event May 7, featured life-sized replicas of dinosaurs, including two massive T-Rexes, a Spinosaurus, a Stegosaurus, a raptor enclosure, and baby dinosaur displays. Attendees could also explore a fossil dig pit.






On Thursday (May 8), the exhibit is set to stop in Galion at the Save A Lot, 845 Portland Way N, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., organizers announced.

The Shelby Historic Preservation Commission is holding its regular monthly meeting at 9 a.m. Friday, May 9 in the Water Street conference room of the Shelby City Hall Building, the commission announced.
The meeting is open to the public.
Agenda items include additions to the locally designated historic site list, historic district signage, and other preservation topics.
Public comment may be submitted to be read at the meeting by emailing Joe Gies at joegies@shelbycity.oh.gov by noon on May 8.
